An island practice

The Real Estate of Roatán is a boutique agency working exclusively on Roatán and the Bay Islands. We represent a deliberately small portfolio — oceanfront condominiums, beachfront and hillside residences, and pre-construction developments — because a short list is the only way to know each property well enough to answer honestly for it.

Buying in Honduras raises reasonable questions: whether foreign nationals can own property outright, how title and closing work, what a homeowners’ association actually covers, and what a residence realistically earns if it is rented. We answer those questions directly, in writing, before anyone is asked to commit.

Our work does not end at closing. Owners come back to us for management referrals, rental programmes, and eventually resale, and that long tail is what the practice is built around.

Represent less, know more. Every listing on this site is one we have walked, measured against the market, and can discuss without a brochure.

Say what is uncertain. Pre-construction timelines move and projected returns are projections. Where a figure is an estimate we label it as one.

One transaction, handled properly. Viewing, offer, due diligence, title, closing — the same person stays with the file from the first message to the last signature.
